DACCA, Pakistan, Nov. 8—Bombs exploded in various parts of Dacca today, and at least six persons were reported assassinated by Bengali guerrillas in the last 24 hours.
This morning bomb explosions rocked three educational institutions in Dacca, injuring six persons, one seriously. The guerrillas opposing the West Pakistanis here in the East are seeking to close higher education facilities on the ground that they are controlled by the army.
One of the explosions, at Iqbal Hall of Dacca University, seriously wounded a philosophy teacher and injured three students.
Political assassinations have increased in the last few days. Yesterday six persons, including a right‐wing politician appointed by the Pakistani Government to serve in a future provincial assembly, were reported killed by submarine guns.
Many of the others were described as members of “peace committees” civilian groups, mostly of non‐Bengalis, who have been appointed by the army to administer East Pakistan.
Most non‐Bengali residents of East Pakistan feel in danger, and many talk of emigrating the guerrillas of Mukti Bahini—the armed forces of the secessionists—operate more or less at will, despite constant army operation against suspected strong holds.
