KARACHI, Pakistan, Nov. 16 —The Rev. William Evans, a Roman Catholic priest from Pittsfield, Mass., in charge of the Comilla National Church in East Pakistan, was shot to death by unknown assailants last Saturday, according to press reports today. He was slain while traveling by road from Dacca, the East Pakistani capital, to Buxnagar for Sunday services, the reports said.
