KARACHI, Pakistan, Tuesday, Nov. 30 (Agence France‐Presse) —President Yahya Khan of Pakistan has proposed to Secretary General Thant that the United Nations station observers on the Pakistani side of the India‐Pakistan border to report on border violations, the Pakistan radio said last night.

Last month Pakistan suggest ed that United Nations observers be posted on both sides of the border to supervise a mutual withdrawal of forces. This proposal was rejected by India.
