LONDON, Dec. 20 (Reuters) Three more Bengali diplomats working abroad for the Pakistani Government defected today to the new government that has been formed in East Pakistan.
Here in London, A.F.M. Ehanul Kabir, minister for economics at the Pakistani High Commission, quit his post and offered his services to the new government, declaring that he owed no further loyalty to the national Government in West Pakistan. He had been the second‐ranking official in the Pakistani mission here.
In Brussels, Khairul Anam, 32‐year‐old second secretary in the Pakistani Embassy, renounced his allegiance to Pakistan and pledged loyalty to Bangladesh, or Bengal Nation. And in Paris, Muselhuddin Alimad, 37, commercial counselor at the Pakistani Embassy, also switched his support to the new East Pakistani administration.
