NEW DELHI, Dec. 24 (Reuters) — Abdu Mutaleb Malik, former governor of East Pakistan, several of his ministers and officials were taken into custody today by the new Bengali government.

The Press Trust of India news agency said in a report from Dacca that others taken into custody included Fazlul Quadir Choudhury, president of the now‐banned Council Moslem League, and Sajjad Hossain, vice chancellor of Dacca University.
