The Minister of Stale for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs said that relations between India and Pakistan had deteriorated further in the past 48 hours, It was clear that Indian regular farces, including tanks, were now engaged with the Pakistan army. The Indian representative at the United Nations, however, had rebutted the accusation of aggression made by the Pakistan Government. It was possible that the matter would now be raised in the Security Council.
