Background: There are frequent reports in East Pakistan of clashes between armed intruders and units of the Pakistan Army. Recently reports have indicated that the intruders crossing from India have been units of India's Border Security Force, accompanied by East Pakistani rebel elements. Usually the reports claim that quantities of Indian-made arms and ammunition have been captured. Ronald Robson, who reports from Dacca, asked to be allowed to see some captured material:
(I am particularly hopeful that you can use some of this as I had to go to particular lengths at very high level to secure it and hope that confidence can continue to be restored so that we may enjoy more and more normal facilities. So far as I can tell the Major's facts about the items of view were accurate. We were supposed also to see some Indian prisoners but space and time did not permit at this stage. We hope to see them later. RR)

Second sync take goes from mortar bombs to Sten guns, rifles and Medium machine guns, the Major describing their provenance.
