Background: East Pakistan is now controlled completely by the Mukti Bahini, aided by Indian troops, and their strength stretches throughout the river areas. This colourful film shows members of Mukti Bahini aboard a fire tender patrolling a stretch of the Sitalakshya river, between Dacca and Narayanganj, passing the wreckages of gun boats destroyed during the war.
