Karachi, June 13.—A leader page article in the Pakistan Times has declared that “Peter Hazelhurst’s dispatches to the London Times show him to be a public relations officer to the Indira Government, rather than a dignified and dispassionate representative of a world newspaper”.
The article, by Abdul Majid, headed “Times man to Indira's rescue” is featured in Thursday’s issue, which reached here from Rawalpindi only today.
Mr Majid wrote: “Indira’s India had been principal party to the Mujib insurrection long before it spread over land. If this fact escaped the correspondent of one of the world’s premier newspapers, he lacked the vigilance demanded by his job. It would be worse if he deliberately blacked out the truth”,
