Briton shot in E Pakistan

Delhi. June 21. — Mr Jim Boyd, the British manager of the Rajki tea estate in the Sylhet district of East Pakistan, was shot dead by West Pakistani troops last Friday, the Press Trust of India reported tonight.

The troops shot Mr Boyd after storming his bungalow. They claimed he had been helping the Mukti Fauj, the freedom fighters. —Agence France Presse.
