KRISHNAGAR, India, June 2 (Reuters)—More than 1,000 East Pakistani refugees have died from cholera in the last six days in the Nadia District of West Bengal state, district officials said today.

The officials of the district, which borders on East Pakistan and is about 60 miles north of Calcutta, said reports of other deaths were still coming in.
